Greenhouse heating systems play a crucial role in
controlling the temperature, humidity, and lighting conditions within the greenhouse. These systems are specifically designed to optimize conditions for plant growth. Typically, greenhouse heating systems comprise hot water boilers, burners, economizers, CO2 systems, black steel pipes and fittings, buffer tanks, pumps, valves, and internal greenhouse connection equipment.

The fan-pad system operates on the same principle as the high-pressure fogging system, offering evaporative cooling and humidification in both applications. The heat needed for water evaporation is drawn from the air's sensible temperature. This results in a decrease in the dry bulb temperature, thereby providing cooling.
