High-Pressure Fogging Lines: Stainless Steel (Chrome) Pipe Systems

In high-pressure fogging systems, the transmission line is one of the most critical factors determining the overall performance and safety of the system. Timfog utilizes high-quality stainless steel (chrome) pipes in its systems—which operate at pressures of 70-100 bar and above—due to their superior resistance to high pressure and exceptional corrosion durability.

Unlike standard piping solutions, Timfog’s chrome pipe systems offer the following advantages for modern greenhouse management and industrial climate control:

1.High-Pressure Strength and Safety

Operating pressures of 70 bar and higher place significant stress on the transmission line. The stainless steel pipes used by Timfog exhibit full resistance to these high pressures without stretching or cracking. This eliminates the risk of line bursts and ensures a safe working environment.

2.Superior Corrosion Resistance

The high humidity in greenhouse environments and the chemical composition of water can cause oxidation (rust) on metal surfaces. Stainless steel (chrome) material provides maximum resistance against humid conditions and water-borne minerals. By preventing internal corrosion, these pipes protect the nozzles from clogging and extend the system's lifespan by decades.

3.Hygienic and Smooth Internal Surface

The internal surface of stainless steel pipes is exceptionally smooth. This smoothness minimizes flow resistance (pressure drop) while preventing the formation of bacteria or algae within the pipes. As a result, the system delivers a clean and hygienic fog, which is critical for plant health.

4.Aesthetic and Durable Installation

Thanks to their rigid structure, chrome pipes create an aesthetic line that does not sag over wide spans. Integrated with Timfog’s specialized connection fittings and push-in systems, these pipes offer ease of installation and a professional industrial appearance.

Timfog determines the pipe diameters and wall thicknesses based on precise hydraulic calculations considering the total line length and nozzle count. This ensures that pressure drops throughout the system are kept to an absolute minimum.
