Nozzle Sets

Product Information

Timfog high-pressure fogging nozzle sets are specialized components engineered to produce an ultra-fine, non-wetting fog for precise evaporative cooling and humidity control in greenhouses. They are the essential delivery mechanism for Timfog's advanced climate control systems.

Micro-Droplet Generation: The core function is to atomize water into extremely small particles, typically in the range of 5 to 20 microns in diameter. This size is critical because it ensures the droplets remain suspended and evaporate almost instantly.

High-Pressure Requirement: To achieve this fine atomization, the nozzles must handle and operate effectively at very high pressures, usually 70 to over 100 bar (approx1,000 to 1,500psi.) which is provided by robust piston pumps (like Annovi Reverberi).

Material and Durability: To withstand the constant high-pressure flow and potential water impurities, Timfog nozzles typically feature:

  • Stainless Steel Orifices: These materials are highly resistant to wear and abrasion, which maintains the critical droplet size over the system's lifespan.
  • Stainless Steel Bodies: Resistant to corrosion in the humid greenhouse environment.

Anti-Drip Mechanism: High-quality nozzle sets are equipped with internal check valves or drip prevention systems to ensure immediate shut-off and prevent any water from dripping onto the plants after the system cycles off. This prevents wetting of foliage, which is a primary cause of fungal diseases like mildew.

The fine, "dry" fog created by these nozzle sets allows Timfog systems to:

Efficiently Cool: Lower the air temperature via direct evaporative cooling as the    micro-droplets pull heat from the air to evaporate.
